Legislative Advocacy

Beyond AIDS supports laws and regulations, at the federal and state level in the United States, that improve public health policy as it relates to HIV/AIDS. We are especially interested in legislation that may help to reduce HIV transmission, and that may lead to detection and treatment of more infections. We oppose laws and regulations that may have the opposite effect. The Beyond AIDS Foundation is not involved with legislation. The following are merely a few examples of positions and actions we have taken in recent years. Several earlier examples can be found in the Articles and Letters and in the Historic Newsletters, under the Archives tab. Press escape to close a PowerPoint slide show before completion.
