Beyond AIDS works to improve public health policies, laws, and regulations to better control HIV transmission. Some of these efforts involve the application of techniques that have been successful in fighting other communicable diseases but have been underutilized for HIV/AIDS.
The organization also operates the tax-deductible Beyond AIDS Foundation, dedicated to education and research for the prevention and control of HIV/AIDS and similarly transmitted diseases. This Web site serves both the membership organization and the foundation.
